drownings, cancer, gun violence (basically what we used to call suicide, but staying PC here), and shark bites. Somewhere, somehow, we're going to get that fatality rate under 100%. Nowhere to go but down, right? Surely can do it.

That’s probably not true as they do not differentiate between death by Covid and death with Covid on the death certificate.
Also there are reports coming from everywhere about false positives and hospitals having financial reasons for listing a patients as positive.
Personally I know dozens of people who have supposedly had it. Several were older lifetime smokers and none had symptoms. Only one lady I know died and she had COPD and asthma.

I agree the numbers are skewed Buddy. IMO, double the number of cases being reported (because of the positives untested) and subtract 25% for false positives, reduce the deaths by half, and then that will be closer to the true numbers. The mighty $ will make the numbers go up when the hospital can get a nice check for every COVID related case.
