COVID-19 What got my attention

My wife, a front line nurse manager who sits in COVID-19 updates twice a day, told me, "This virus can take you from a high temperature to a ventilator in 12 hours, and there is not a drug as of yet that can slow it down."

According to a COVID-19 tracker/forecaster, as of now our peak in SC will be April 28th. One reason that everyone is asked to social distance, limit their errands and wear masks is that there are some who have COVID-19 and are asymptomatic. Put another way, you can feel well and unknowingly spread the virus. That's very concerning.

Bottom line... this is a bad, bad virus. Stay healthy and safe.
And of course, Go Tigers!

They didn't poll me, and I disagree. That may be the best prophylaxis, but I believe Remdesivir will be the best treatment drug. Most doctors aren't even aware it exists, and it is not an inexpensive generic- so many doctors from poorer countries would not vote for it in any poll even if they knew it existed.

Wait 2-4 weeks and we will know.

My wife is a nurse as well.

Check out South Africa's death rate to COVID 19 with a 60M population. They went through the Malaria pandemic and treated it with HCQ. I imagine they are doing the same with COVID.
