A family make in a settlement with the school, conference, NCAA and any other entity that they could sue if their son, brother, father were to die from a football related COVID death?

Any lawyers on here that wanna take a stab at it?

Say 1 mil

Double it becaus lawr gets half..at 2 mil

Then double it again because jurors give half of what you are asking..

So u sue for 4 mil so you can get 1mil.


Tucker hips family sued for 24mil for something clemson had nothing to do with.

I imagine it would be more than that for something clemson was directly related 2.

I’m sure you can get to the ACC and NCAA for making the games happen.

A really good lawyer may even be able to wrangle in the TV contracts somehow.

The attorneys representing the Hipps family filed a motion to have the settlement information sealed, so to my knowledge, that information has never been made public.

No one wants to be liable if a death happens. If they want to play, sign a waiver knowing that they waive the right to sue over Covid related death or injury. Like Dabo said, will not playing football get rid of the virus? The players are safer at Clemson than they would be anywhere else. They could still train, eat, and be in a controlled environment.
