Dang, I figured that was going to be it. I remember a patient once that kept refusing to get blood thinner injections while she was hospitalized. The day she was going to be discharged she got up (after mostly being in bed for a few days) walked up to the counter and started telling us to hurry up and get her out of there (can't discharge a patient without the MD putting in the order) Well mid sentence her eyes roll back and BAAM she hits the floor and died, she threw a clot too. Craziest thing I ever saw...
