CALLING OUT all the sports writers in this state:

Oct 14, 2012, 9:48 AM

Beginning no less than with Ron Morris of "The State." Who will have the guts to call an Ace an Ace and a Spade a Spade? As far as I'm concerned, any one of them or all will demonstrate a weak-kneed, lily-livered, yellow-bellied cowardice for failure to call out Spurrier over his post-game comments. His trashing of Shaw was a classic example of why I do not engage in singling out individual players publicly for negative criticism, as I think such serves only to humiliate and demoralize. Now, I do understand people like Steve Spurrier and what drives them. However, although I would acknowledge his past successes, at the same time I deplore that type of public attack. Inexcusable and despicable!

He plans to go into politics after coaching.
This means he can only take positive credit and deny all wrong doing.

however, they tend to call themselves anything but!

I would be embarassed to have our coach do that.

He tried to go back and say he had played some great football prior to last night, but the knife was already in the back of Shaw, imo. He is an ####### and we all know it.

Exactly....And any Clemson graduate or fan with a shred of

common sense or decency should immediately speak against any coach guilty of such. I would be stunned, if any of our present staff spoke accordingly...I don't believe they are capable of that type of attack!

"writes" for the Post and Fishwrapper down here. The official chicken beat writer cant handle grammar or spelling and Sawchik only writes negative articles about Clemson even though he is supposed to be an objective beat writer for us.

Excellent observation! Spurrier's competitiveness and

own personal success in the position makes him search for a QB in his mold. Yet, his ego subconsciously drives that type into subperformance due to his own management. It's no different than a CEO wanting a replacement of equally superior talent, yet subversively launching attacks to his own "superiority" via derisions of the replacement.
