Not how I read it. Just says he opens up about why....and it goes on to say he himself said that's where he would have gone, but only as a QB (which with Lawrence's commitment, he doesn't feel he'd get a chance at now). Seems complimentary of Clemson and just a story about how the TL commitment changed things for him. It also seems to discuss how he may be open to other schools pursuing him not named South Carolina.

This guy is the type of player I like to see coming to CLEMSON - but he is making the correct decision IMO (except for the USUC part). He should seriously consider VT, as their coach just put a QB into the NFL while at Memphis. Out of all the teams mentioned in his list, VT has the best coach by far. I wish the best for this guy. He's gonna be a tough out whenever he plays CLEMSON.
And I only see complimentary stuff from him - no butthurt IMO.

I really thought this kid would do great things at Clemson. Lawrence is #1 for a reason though and he won his state title.
