This company will price the same, except giving Clemson

Dec 13, 2007, 11:13 AM

a piece of the pie.

kinda surprised travel agencies are surviving

Dec 13, 2007, 11:00 AM

the internet age. My last three trips to Vegas were cheaper purchasing plane tickets (delta) and hotel rooms (luxor) separately through each companies website. I guess there's an argument of making just one payment to an agent over making separate plane, hotel and rental car payments.

By doing the partnership with Clemson, they will get a chunk

of the tickets, giving them possible advantages in the marketplace. They also will be given preferential information and locations for setting up hospitality packages.

Expedia...Orbitz...Travelocity...it's not that hard folks.

Dec 13, 2007, 11:06 AM

A monkey could plan a trip for himself with all the tools that are out there these days. Don't waste your money on these agencies.

But they will have the tickets from Clemson***

Will they be in line in front of or behind IPTAY members?

Dec 13, 2007, 11:17 AM

If in front of I WILL BE PISSED

If behind, I dont need them

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

and that in itself is a bad move for us

Dec 13, 2007, 11:22 AM [ in reply to But they will have the tickets from Clemson*** ]

before too long, there will be no tickets at all left for anybody to purchase straight through Clemson. We'll all be forced to buy football tickets from an agent that adds a $20 handling fee because the agent he purchased from added a $10 handling fee because they had to open the envelope from Clemson to actually get the tickets.
