Tiger Paw on Helmet

I notice on the front page that only the Center has a Tiger Paw on his helmet. Is this a motivational tool?

ie: You have to accomplish such and such to get the PAW on the helmet?


Good idea if you ask me.

The first I thought was he was a returning starter. And he's about it. A Remington candidate at that.

Speaking of paws, people must be putting tiger paws on their cars around Atl. I saw a record 6 different vehicles around town today with a paw. There is no mistaken the paw.

they have plain practice helmets to keep the decals on the game ones nice and any decals that get dinged up get replaced.

A lot of coaches at different levels do use it as a motivational tool as well. My high school coach said we had to "earn" the decal during camp and practice before the season. I'm not sure about Clemson's reasons in particular though.
