Do you think Virginia could beat Wisconsin?

I keep seeing tv host claiming that we have the easiest championship game. Ohio State beat Wisconsin by 31 earlier this season. Wouldn’t that be the easiest game.

but I think Wisconsin would win largely because of Jonathan Taylor and the Badger OL.
Remember, Wisconsin lost to a 6 - 6 Illinois team as a 30 point favorite. Other than UGa's home loss to uof6c, that was one of the biggest upsets of the 2019 season.

Could they beat Wisconsin? Yes
What would their chances be? That is a tougher question.
Obviously to beat Wisconsin you have to be able to stand up against their run game for 60 minutes.
I think you could easily argue that UVA has better athletes than Wisconsin, but I'm not sure if they have the depth on defense to stop Taylor for 4 quarters.
UVA offense vs Wisconsin defense would be interesting.
Like everybody who plays UVA, if you can stop Perkins then you can stop their offense.
Fields is the best comparison who has played Wisconsin this season and they did well for the first half but couldn't keep it up.

I sure do . I also think they're competitive enough to beat either of th PAC12 lookers . No on either SEC contender , No on OU or Baylor ... and no on the Buckeyes .

Do you have football reasons to back that up?
UVA's run defense is the strength of their defense.
That helps them greatly when matching up with a team like Wisconsin.

What is “southern speed”? You know top 25 programs are all littered with players from all over the country, right? “Southern speed” is literally like saying “sec speed” which I know all of Tnet loves so much.
Take Ohio State And Clemson.....do we have faster players then them? NO! Go look and compare 40 times. Also is Virginia in the south? Not so sure about this southern speed thing you speak of.
If I’m laying money down, it’s in Wisconsin in a matchup with UVA.

Wisconsin would be a 14 point favorite on a neutral field. I'd give Virginia a 15% chance.

I don't bet on Virginia to win. Eva
But in this case, I think UVA would be beaten down in the 2nd half and won't be able to control the game. They have a chance but Wisc would have to give up big plays to Perkins and Co, especially in the 2nd half.
