Clemson has been to the Sweet Sixteen 4 times in Clemson Basketball history. 1 of those times was literally last year und34 Brad Brownell.
He can quit coaching for at least 3 more years before they even consider firing him.

I honestly think next year will be his last year. He doesn't make it to the tournament enough. He probably won't take us there this year and I definitely don't think next year. That will be 1 tournament in his last 9 seasons. I feel fairly confident that next year will be his last year.

I think it might have been for recruiting reasons. I think the buyout might have gotten smaller even with the extension. Take that with a grain of salt.

fired up this narrative that the coach needs x years left on the deal for recruiting. A farce I say.

I put my undefeated streak of traveling to Clemson Basketball on the line when I went to those two games in San Diego.

Of course I've never been to one, nor watched one on TV, but I think my glass-half-full record is logically sound.

This team is really showing some heart. I think they really do like the new coach and she's got them believing they can win. IN general, they appears to be far more athletic and offensive minded a many positions now. We have a really good guard (All Acc?) and a post player. there is another young lady playing down low that is coming into her own. We will lose a lot this year, but hopefully, recruiting is going well. I'm excited about the future.

laughable tournaments like the CBI or the CIT. I'm pretty sure we used up 10 years worth of basketball karma last season, so our 3 choices going forward are:
1. Just don't pay attention. Football season starts in a couple of months.
2. Fire Brownell, hire Robot Coach, vindicate RH Tig in his efforts to FINALLY place Clemson on the basketball landscape in America. 3. Basketball??? Oh yeah...I kinda remember they used to play that in the same building where our on-campus Native American casino is now!!!
