Bringing first timers to the FSU game, tix question.....

After years of bragging from me and seeing hype videos of how great our fanbase is, I've talked 6 buddies into heading to their first Clemson game when FSU comes to town. I'm seeing tix in the upper deck for them but I'm really wanting them close to if not in the student section to REALLY get a feel for DV during a big game. That much of an option for a game that big this season?

Take them to the Hill! If you can get some LD tickets, they usually don't give much trouble if you try to get on the hill. The FSU game is an excellent choice IMO for a first experience.

Get there early and find the drunks and kids that change their mind and want to party instead. It is possible. I did it throughout highschool and college since I wanted to be in the student section but wasn't a clemson student.

Watch the game from upstairs but go down during 4th qtr

You could always watch most of the game from upstairs but when they open the gates 4th quarter and quit checking tickets join the crowd at the hill for the win and descend upon the field.

One's a Cornell guy but the others are mainly NFL guys, no real college affiliation. Few went to UCF so there's some draw there but they'll be decked out in Solid Orange for this one. Have a feeling I may convert them completely after this experience.
