Bridge Program SAT Scores.

May 26, 2012, 11:20 AM

Looking for info on the Program. My son is interested in Clemson but is a 3.0 student and needs some improvement on his SAT's. Anyone have a general idea of a good SAT score for the Bridge program?

"Bridge program selects students who narrowly miss acceptance to Clemson University".

Teacher recommendations also go a long long way into making exceptions.

All I can offer.

But some kids have great HS grades and lower SAT, some the opposite. The Bridge is intended to catch those kids that might have slipped in one area or the other.

The Bridge is a great way to get the freshman year done...lower cost and being somewhat isolated from the normal campus activities helps a lot of kids focus more on the grades they need to cross the Bridge.

If he doesn't get accepted into the Bridge, take a look at Spartanburg Methodist. Their two year program is designed to transfer their kids to the state 4 year schools. They also have the Palmetto Scholarship deal that the tech schools do with free tuition if they graduate with a 3.0 and maintain it for the duration of their time there.
