My two cents on statues. As of this moment, I think it

May 10, 2018, 5:54 PM

would be unfair to Danny Ford and Frank Howard if put up a statue of Dabo. If we are talking about statues of all three, I would contribute. As of now, Dabo has not done much more than Danny did. Each won a national championship and Danny’s schedule back in the day had less games, therefore it’s not fair to compare “wins per season.” Let’s wait a few more years and then make this decision.

Boy you are lost....

Dabo has done many times over for Clemson than Danny could ever dream of, trust me. Statue time yet? Not sure, but he would be first in line.

Clemson has multiple coaches in the HOF so I would recommend the AD and trustees create a statuary plaza including them all! Heisman, Jess Neely, Frank Howard, Danny Ford and obviously Dabo would be fitting and great way to showcase our heritage and overall excellence. Put the project into IPTAY and let the donors contribute whatever amount they feel inclined to give.

The whole concept would be paid for in short order.

Go Tigers!

statues of living people seem a bit over the top to me. Once they die and some perspective is acheived, maybe...

Bad idea to put a statue up of anyone these days

living or dead. As much of a saint as you think someone is/was, there is a group of people out there who was offended by what he/she did --- or even THOUGHT -- and will jump at the opportunity to deface, defile, and protest.

Just not worth the trouble.

Never will forget seeing the ones of Moses & Knute Rockne at Notre Dame in 1979 on road trip game there with my 9 yr old Son (now a CU grad).
