I've googled it multiple times and the one Gamecock Nation thread is the only place I can find any reference. I just don't think it happened, and if it did, there will be no "Jesus is a distraction" quote from anyone other than a tnetter.

You might be right-but I believe the guy reporting it in that thread may be the publisher of that site. If it's not true, he will be losing some credibility.

I am a Clemson grad. My church had Adrian Despres, the USC chaplain, come and speak to our men's group a couple of years ago. Of course, their fans were coming out of the woodwork.
This guy was a super speaker and I bet a great motivator. If true, this will be another brick in Boom's expected failure!
