I grew up idolizing Bo and LT. Bo was just a physical freak that I don't think we will ever get to witness anything like it again. No one should be that big and powerful with so much speed and coordination. LT was just, IMO, the best defensive player I've ever seen. That's what playing with a chip and attitude looks like. So much fun to watch. Too bad the drugs got to him.

i really dont know if a better pure athlete has ever lived then bo jackson- literally whatever he wanted to do he was instantly great, not just good, but great at!
lawrence taylor was also a freak, but his kinda freaknish i think was more just before the time when performance-enhancing tests had become valid & useful. bo on the other hand was more like "god" just touched him & said you will be the best

He is the greatest athlete I have ever seen. To bad these youngsters have no idea just how great Bo was in both sports. I think , given time, he would have gotten even better in baseball.
