Blind Resume. Which team should be ranked higher?

For the sake of argument we'll use the current AP 25 poll for reference.

Team A
W/L: 9-0
Wins over Power 5 teams over .500: 3
Wins over Teams currently ranked: 1
Road wins over Power 5 teams over .500 : 0


Team B *, **
W/L: 9-1
Wins over Power 5 teams over .500: 6
Wins over Teams currently ranked: 2
Road wins over Power 5 teams over .500 : 2


* = Has nation's best win
** = Bad loss on the road (Starting QB injured in a close game)


I'd give the edge to Team B despite the loss.

WF put sixty plus on the Cuse with a qb who should not be better than any of the Tigers signal callers.


That loss in the Dome was bad any way that I look at it.

The best way to make amends is beat the living Shyatt out of every one else! For some reason you guys don’t agree with this. Win out MAY be enough but I wouldn’t risk it!

Your points are understood; however, we don't need to kill the rest of the teams on our schedule to get in...if we win our next two games, beating a #2 Miami in the ACCCG will be all that it takes to be in the CFP, period.

I'd say iowa state has the nations best win............followed closely by syracuse.

but either way Team A gets the nod

now, if you want to use some other criteria you can, but based solely on the criteria laid out.............whomever beat OU & Clemson would have 2 of the "nation's best wins"

but as long as the criteria is current it's good for the moment
