How can we remove their biases enough to hold any of them as being credible!!!!

Sometimes it is glaringly obvious that some are just average prognosticators while a few are just embarrassingly bad. Bleacher falls into the latter.

Sometimes, you wonder if people want Clemson #1 for the attempt to end Dabo's streak at starting higher than where initially ranked....but hey, start at #1, end where you started....streak still continues. Go Tigers!!

Yeah, I'm sure people making up these preseason polls are ranking Clemson high just for this reason...

Alabama I get, but to continually, year in and year out, put

Ohio State ahead of Clemson is asinine. They recruit well. Congrats, Urban Meyer. But they always do, and the program, including the head coach, have done nothing, head to head or otherwise, to show they ever deserve to be ranked ahead of Clemson. Thanks for the motivation, though.

You mean right after the first time we beat them? They must have improved a lot in that season and then digressed so far that they were shut out 31-0 or Clemson has been the better team for at least the last 5 years.

So a team can't be better than another team one year, slightly worse than that team the following year, and then be better than them the next year? How did we beat Alabama in the NC game then since we lost to them the year before and the year after?
Are you also suggesting that Ohio State shouldn't be allowed to be ranked higher than Clemson ever since they lost those two games? So a pollster getting ready to rank Ohio State #1 in 2018 should stop and move Clemson ahead of them because Clemson beat Ohio State in 2013 and 2016? Makes sense I suppose. Should those pollsters also ensure that Clemson is behind Alabama, Pitt, and Syracuse in each ranking?

He's overrated because he lost to Dabo twice? If you want to call the following overrated then there's no pleasing you.
-He's 177-31 as a coach, 11-3 in bowls(yes 0-2 vs. Clemson which is more of a credit to Dabo and Clemson IMO)
-3 national championships
-6 conference championships
-Has won a BCS bowl game at 3 different schools

awards you want. The fact remains his best coaching days are well behind him, and anyone paying attention knows it. He's the new Mac Brown. NOBODY does less with more. I have OSU friends and they're extremely frustrated with him. They did win a NC a few years ago but they haven't been a legit threat since, regardless of what the media, and you apparently, want everyone to believe.
Yes, he's overrated. I don't care what he did pre-health issue at Florida and Utah. That was a different Urban Meyer. And I never said he was a bad coach. I said he's overrated, and he is. With the recruiting they're doing, they should be Alabama North.

No surprise on bleacher report. Owned by Turner broadcasting and headquarters in San Fran. And forever biased with the b1g.
Probably the outlet that thought Clemson was in Tennessee.

I would prefer the number three ranking or at least number two. I like the way our team plays with a chip on their shoulders. Kinda hard to with the number one ranking.

I know this is a popular thought, but it's one I never agree with. If the team doesn't have enough of a chip on their shoulders already from getting beaten down in the CFP this past season and coming up short in their hunt for another NC, then the difference in being ranked #2 or #3 instead of #1 isn't going to matter.

I was looking for Clemson to start the season 3 or 4 so we could have the determination to climb
