Blaming Coaching Is Not the Same As Wanting them Fired

Sep 21, 2014, 1:15 PM

I like Chad, Dabo and Venables.....I think we have as fine of a coaching staff as a School like Clemson can have.

I have a major problem with the play selection at key times. I think Chad was wrong for lining up in shotgun on the 1/2 foot line and I have a problem with Dabo not stepping in and overruling Chad...a couple of times.

Just because they effffed things up on some key play calls shouldn't require their termination. I just want to see them address the problem and fix it.

The definition of insanity is to do the same thing and expect different results

We've been iffy in short yardage and the redzone for years

we either can't or won't just line up and get a yard when needed. Thats a consistent problem that hasn't been addressed and it more philosophical than anything else.

I agree and perhaps I've gone overboard re the coaches getting axed but they are not learning from their mistakes. Sure they run it up against weaker teams but in the big games usually but not always, they get out coached and that leads to another loss. I personally think the world of Dabo and I'm sure Morris is a fine guy but the fact that they know what to does not mean that they can properly apply that knowledge. There are gaping holes in their coaching abilities like very difficult time making halftime adjustments, limited knowledge of coaching to the situation, etc. If that were Spurrier, whom I dislike very much but respect his coaching ability, there is no way he loses that game. No way.
