Bill O'Brien says DW is way ahead

Of any rookie QB he's ever been around. The man's special and I cannot wait to see him play on the next level.

On a lesser note, imagine if your Mike W.... broken neck two years ago, and now he has a serious back problem. I pray for him bc he is an outstanding talent but when does long-term health come into consideration? Praying for you MW!

None of us who have kept up with DW are surprised. Praying for Mike. It would be a shame to not be able to see him be healthy and play to his full potential.

Not surprised. DW was special when he came in and has continued to be exceptional. I believe he is a once in a generation qb with no disrespect to the very good ones at CU now.

I would hope so. It's not a real strong list of rookie QB's coached by O'Brien. Tom Savage, Matt Gutierrez, Kevin O'Connell, Zac Robinson, Ryan Mallett and Brian Hoyer.
