I assume Reed probably sits with the knee sprain? Anyone know for sure?
Big opportunity for Trapp and Newman in particular today.
Hopefully we can keep it close and have a chance towards the end.

and excellent guard play to boot. It would be a tough game with Reed. Without him a real long shot IMO. And then we have a Radford team who has already win at ND and Texas.
If Reed can't go both these games will be trial by fire for Trapp and Newman, which could help in the long run. Need Simms to reemerge as well

Thomas is just now rounding in to shape. Simms needs to be more consistent and aggressive. We need Newman and Tyson to have the game slow down some. White and Jemison to be able to sub for Thomas. Talent is there with Reed on the court.
Next year who knows, a ton will depend on the incoming freshmen and a probable grad transfer. Big shoes to fill next season.
I'm not to concerned by the losses as both were to tourney teams. But need to find the guy (Reed) to just step up in those big moments like Gabe did last year. I think it happens.

so far. He knows that's part of a chance at the next level. One game he'll hit 4 or 5 and we'll be off and running. Simms adjusting to 3 as well is a work in progress. He's struggled to guard smaller, quicker players.
One thing I do look for with Jemison back is for White to get some minutes at 4. He can shoot the 3 but hasn't taken one this year playing strictly 5. We could see that beginning today with Miss State's size

On film, Tyson looks like he has potential to be a good 3pt shooter. That was from his HS film.

We have really got to start shooting better and rebounding on D. We looked like crap against a bad Saint Peters team last time out. We need to start hitting some 3s and getting Thomas more touches down low. If Reed is out idk where our scoring will come from. Mitchell has to start shooting the 3 ball better. We certainly have the talent to make it back to the tourney but the way we have been playing outside of the UGA game we will be lucky to be a top 10 team in the ACC. I believe in the guys and believe we can win today without Reed but we have got to start playing better ball.
