Best ever recruiting class?

This year has the potential (assuming we sign all the guys who're committed) to be the best class we've had since the proliferation of these recruiting services.
But I was going back through and looking at the '08 class and the '15'ers will be hard pressed to match those guys:

Three of those guys (Bowers, Ellington, and Allen) are amongst the best players ever at Clemson.
Bowers and Allen were national-award-winners.
Bowers, Allen, and Freeman were All-Americans.
Bowers, Ellington, Allen, Thompson, Freeman, McClain, Hall, and Parker (freshman) were All-ACC players.
Bowers, Ellington, Allen, Thompson, Harper, Freeman, Willard, McClain, and Brown all played in the NFL.

Ford days. Our mind would be blown on both lines, Lb's, SEcondary, and RB's. Kicker would be the one we would all complain about.

think the recruiting and developing was really great in those days, but I think Dabo has his staff really focused on recruiting. Just think, Scar is trying to save a sinking 2015 class, we are done and working on the 2016 and 2017 classes. We are 2 or 3 steps ahead.

I think if we hit on all our targets in 2016 that class will be our greatest one yet. Yes it's early but we are in early on studs and cooper is about to show out this summer and next season!!

Don't think we can sign more than 18-20 even with significant attrition. It is near impossible to have a top-five recruiting class with those numbers, unless we sign 8 five stars or so.

That's the problem with most people they get hooked to bringing in a lot of guys and they don't look at the overall talent of the class. If we hit on majority of our targets next class the talent of that class would be insane. The TALENT not the size of the class.
