Best conference Top 3?
Oct 30, 2013, 10:47 PM

Sec: Bama, Auburn, Missouri
B1G: OSU, Michigan, Michigan State
Big 12: Baylor, OU, Texas Tech
PAC-12: Oregon, Stanford, UCLA
ACC: FSU, Clemson, Miami
Which conference has their three best teams in the top 10?
Which conference's big 3 have the best OOC wins? Thought I would bring this up before Miami loses big this Saturday.

Why would you have A&M over Auburn when Auburn won the head to head?

Yeah, never mind that A&M is giving up just under 32 points

per game (31.75 to be exact), which includes 3 games against Non-AQ conference teams (Rice, Sam Houston St.--who?, and SMU) as well as teams like Vandy and Arkansas.
To say they are better than Auburn is not entirely true, especially considering Auburn went TO Kyle Field.
In the SEC right now you have Alabama (obviously).
You have to put Missouri in there with going to UGA and winning by 15 as well as beating Florida (being the first team to put more than 17 points on their defense), with the only mark against them being last weekends game when the coach played not to lose.
And the third best team would have to be between LSU, UGA, Auburn, USuCk, and possibly A&M. But it's pretty much a crap shoot, with LSU getting a slight edge.

SEC took pipes to the legs of Florida and Georgia to make them look worse than they were when they lost to ACC schools so nobody will bring it up later in the season.

just opinion nothing more nothing less. Fresno St is 7-0 do I think they are better than Texas A&M with 2 losses...no, so yes, watching teams helps base what you think they could do head to head. A team scoring 40 plus on Bama says a ton for me, what would they do to USC's D if they racked up that much on Bama? it would be ugly
College football junkie, I watch a ton of games and go to good matchup games each year regardless of teams, plus just plain enjoy seeing new stadiums, fan bases, traditions etc
The reasons you question my statement on LSU and Texas A&M is exactly why I think Dabos statement of 5 of 10 was so foolish
Texas A&M is better than Auburn as LSU is better than Ole Miss. Now those teams lost yet could have said 9 out of 10 times we beat those guys but they got us on their best night
Now Dabo after a blow out has no business saying anything other than we will go back to playing harder coaching harder and we will get better and give them a better game next time
Anyway, there is no argument on the ACC, FSU Clemson and maybe Miami on a lower level than Clemson, not sure who the #3 ACC team is but the top 2 are really good

I would agree they are probably better but it doesn't matter

They lost the heads up match-up and even the SEC can't scrub those losses away neither one of those teams will compete for a conference title but Auburn can and Missouri is still in the driver's seat in the East.

What happened to the head to head argument? You have Bama then Mizzou but USC beat them head to head so they must be better right? Was NC ST better than FSU last year since they beat them in 1 game? Would UVA be better than Clemson if they somehow pulled a shocker and won by 1 over the Tigers. No, it doesn't always mean they are better, they are better that day but the season makes the team
Not exactly. I agree with you on Mizzou being better but I disagree about Texas a&M and LSU.
None of our opinions matter since it will all play out on the field. Auburn can play through a depleted SEC and then lose to Bama badly and get put back into reality, or they can win or keep it close and maintain some respect
