Best OC/DC at Clemson

Who would you say is the best OC/DC we have had at Clemson? I would have to say that BV would be the best DC we have had in a very long time, possibly ever. As far as OC though, would Morris rank at the top or is there someone else you would put at the top? I think it would be easy for someone to make the argument that we had the best OC/DC combination Clemson has ever had.

Best OC is Morris, hands down, with Chuck Reedy 2nd
Best DC is Bill Oliver. Venables 2nd.
Reedy and Oliver worked together, but I would put Morris/Venables slightly ahead of them as a combo.

Rodriguez is the best OC. Got the best out of his talent and was the best playcaller
Oliver is probably the best DC. But BV is doing a heck of a job

Clyde Christensen/Bill Oliver. Would argue Rich Rod but that HB pass we threw in RZ vs Chickens at home one year lingers....

Rich Rod was only OC for 1 home game against USC.

That was the 2000 game with "The Catch II" by Rod Gardner. That was my freshman year so my memory of the game is fuzzy in places (cant imagine why), but even if that did happen we still won the game.

oh yeah. we won the game. just had to come from behind due to inept RZ play calling. Liek most spread guys, he was prone to out think himself at times. Too cute. The times when he wasn't doing that though, you take him over just about anyone.

Yes. Over all of them. He's still in nfl. He was too good to be at college level. I stand by it.
