I’ve seen high school playing surfaces look better than ours did today! There is absolutely no reason for our field to look as crappy as it does. Our grounds crew need to answer to this...

It’s called over seeding... Other teams playing surfaces look just fine. And deal with the same temp issues ...

Pretty sure Clemson has a handle on field maintenance. Some of the best no matter the sport. Pretty sure they have a specialty in ag.

One of the best turf management programs in the country in fact. Clemson alumni are scattered across the world managing PGA golf courses.

Enter happens in auburn too. Their field looked top notch. Ours looks like the final day at Wimbledon center court.

I thought it looked bad also. The 30 yard line was painted top soil and sand. For some reason the rye didn’t take very well. I’m surprised they didn’t over seed the bad spots two weeks ago...The entire field needs new sod not sprigs this time.

I'll bet Dabo is not too happy with the turf either. It looked weak from the 2nd home game. I figured it was just me that noticed it. I'll guarantee it will be top notch again next year.

But the field condition actually affects the health of the athletes. Unlike Clemson fans, students, and yes alumni Wahooing, putting a M$%#^#^ "N" after the "O", while not filling the Hill.
Hopefully the off season the ground crew figures it out.
