Northwood out of Greer is the favorite (again) to advance and represent the state of South Carolina.

Most likely, we don't need to prognosticate about the postseason. Two games over .500, one game over .500 in the conference, and we still have Louisville and FSU left to play. Georgia Southern isn't a bad team either. It would be wonderful if we could put a streak together but taking off my orange colored glasses, I think we finish 29-27 overall and .500 in conference play. That might get us a fourth seed based on name recognition.
It's a clear sign of how far we've fallen when 40+ wins was a norm (we had the third longest streak in history), and now we will struggle to hit 30.

The 4 seeds are reserved for the automatic qualifiers who won conference championships with really bad RPIs. Last year we were one of the last at large teams in the field as a three seed with 36 wins and a much better RPI than we have now.
