give me my money back, how do these vouchers work. Do I, being the one that paid for everything get one huge credit or is said credit in the name of the passenger?

They have been super easy to work with in my circumstances. I was really pleased with their customer service. I just took the full credits and they now last 2 years.

Yeah - 2 years full credit, no cancellation or transfer fees

They auto-applied this to passengers who didn't cancel and just missed or skipped flights also. Early on they were overrun with calls so they just put out a blanket policy and asked that you wait 72 hours before a flight if you felt you had to reach out.

Their obligations might be different though if they were the ones to cancel all of the particular flights on a journey to and fro.

If we're not flying again in two years then there will be much more to worry about than a lost round trip ticket. Mine was to New Orleans the last week of March so I'm already thankful.
