Beer is the most phenomenal young hitter I've ever seen.

He had an off day today - seriously - and he had a double and a walk-off HR.

I've never seen a hitter at this age that is so physically gifted, and so mentally mature, and so disciplined at the plate. Every time he steps into the batter's box, it's his world, and everybody else is just living in it. Glad he's a Tiger and blessed that I get to see him play. Mind blowing.

I don't put it on the Ken Griffey Jr. sweet swing pedastal but it really reminds me a lot of my favorite player of all-time Mr. Mark Grace.

You got me to thinking and the last I can remember that could alter a game like this was jd drew and pat burrell that kid from cal st Fullerton years ago. I'm sure there are others but yes the kid is a beast.
