Beasley is a consensus #1 pick

Feb 22, 2015, 5:22 PM

To outdo everything that Clowney will do in the NFL.

My words, mark them.

I think he will manage to beat clowney's 5 NFL tackles

Feb 22, 2015, 5:38 PM

he actually had 2 tackles in a single game

no

The only reason Blowme was last year was because there was no Franchise QB.

Winston will go 1

Exactly! +1 That's literally the only reason, because

even Bortles was far from a "can't miss" type player by athletic ability alone. He had great tangible/visual qualities with his size, but lacked in many other areas. Crab legs showed out, and has the size + athleticism that is rare for his position. I'm not comparing players, so don't flame. Anyways, Winston's situation is similar to Beasley's spot at DE/OLB (although obviously for other qualities they are presumed to have/not have thank God!) for the QB spot if you will; If that makes any sense whatsoever. Crab legs had to interview, (and do other things well) for obvious reasons. While Vic needed to weigh-in, and bench well too see if 235 could work in the League. Vic more than answered many doubters with his weight 246+/-(?), racking 225 35 frickin' times, and a 41' inch vertical was INSANE being the understatement of the year. They say Winston did well throughout the combine process. Former Heisman and MNC QB's are hard not to take. If for nothing else, for fear of not taking them in the more and more rare case that their game does indeed transfer to the next level. Most important player in any football game is the QB. Second most is the QB. Then third, you have the QB. Then you have your line play on both sides of the ball in 4th IMO.

Concensus among tnet? Haven't seen this anywhere else

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

You may have misread the OP, but in all seriousness

Feb 22, 2015, 9:54 PM

Who do you think will have the better pro career? We already know who had better coaching and the better college career.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

y'all can't read, OP is saying that Beasley will be much

Feb 23, 2015, 12:23 AM

better than Clowney, not that he's literally going to be the #1 pick.

But everyone already knows that what the op said is true. So does that mean we have to give him credit for getting this right even thought it's common dang sense?Just asking.:D

I would say that is a bold statement, but I kind of agree with you!! I don't think he will go #1 but VB will outshine what's his name.
