Battle's situation has nothing to do with Hyatt

Even if Hyatt was a stud, Battle would still start at the other Tackle spot. Battle was going to start regardless. I think it's probably 20% baby and 80% school as to why he left. He was having issues academically and instead being possibly suspended and potentially hurt his draft stock even further with yet another red flag, he decided that this route made the most sense. Talent-wise he might be a 3rd round pick value in the supplemental draft, but when you add in some of the other issues he's had on and off the field in the past, I doubt he get picked that high.

Turns out he was picked-up for possession of marijuana earlier this month, at least that's what another site is reporting.

Wrong. If it would have been up to Battle he would have 100% elected to stay with Clemson for the 2015 season. Dabo was tired of dealing with his nonsense.
