The Chad has said that the best five would start. LIAR! Whiff Timothy is just terrible and should never see the field again. They started Battle, but then took him out and watched Whiff let Attochu run right by him to sack Tajh. He does not know how to stay in front of a rushing opponent. The best OL would be Battle - LT, Beasley - LG, Norton - C, Shatley - RG, and Thomas - RT.
Don't know what Battle has done to stay in the doghouse so long, but they have two weeks to get him ready for the coots, or Tajh will be spitting out teeth after every play. I don't know what has happened for the OL to go from decent [not good, but decent] to terrible in one year. The loss of Freeman should not have caused that much of a letdown.
Thomas is just flat outstanding, the rest are pitiful. Thought Shatley would be better, Beasley/Davis also. Shatley has forgotten how to move his feet. Anthony looks to be improving, but is still a liability. OL and secondary are the weakest parts of this team.
If you get a chance to rewatch this game, watch the OL in the first quarter. They were really awful. Got a little better as the game went on, but that first quarter showed how bad they are. The coiaches need to forget how bad/lazy a practice player Battle is, and just put him in and let him go. Whether it be at LT or RT.
Don't even get me started on the TEs. Suckinger is one of the worst blockers that I've ever seen on the college level, and Cooper is not much better. They need to put Smith in and let him play, whether they throw it to him or not.

lack of experience at TE has been an issue. We were spoiled with Allen and Ford.

at blocking. Is he afraid of another injury? Don't know. At least Seckinger can make plays on the ball at times.
Getting Leggett's head straightened out is becoming critical.

I thought it was shaq anthony that came in and gave attaochu a hard time. He stoned him on our first TD pass, then we started doubling him.
