The defense played great as expected, keeping us in the game. However, poor and nonchalant passes reduce any opportunities for a momentum wing or a comeback. The offense made high risk passes during a close game. Lack of full court hustle after scoring or rebounds down the stretch. Which appears costly during a tight ball game. Especially while the game was on the line. The players looked relaxed during this close game, but looked to relaxed that produced missed opportunities and self inflicted misstakes that hurt any opportunities to catch up, or put the game away.

That K.J. long pass attempt near the end was a big one..

all and all though, the game was about what I expected. Close, trouble with big men which will be a problem all year. Nnoko is still learning, and basically Smith has no business being on an ACC roster in my opinion. I'm not sure that guy would be a standout in a Furman-Western Carolina match up. I love Blossongame's game so far this season. Go Tigers.

There's still some great potential on this team, if these young players are will to be coachable and willing to learn how to adjust to the style of play that is needed to be competitive in this ACC league.
