saved his job, but he refused to make staff changes. Jack knew he was on a short leash this season and he failed. That stubbornness and arrogance finally caught up to him. When you are on a short leash and have a bad season you don't get to dictate terms.

Pep. He was asked to replace Pep. That's it. It was also strongly suggested last year. This year it wasn't a suggestion.

That makes no sense. Pep was gone either way. Jack couldn't save him. Now they are both gone.

I think Rad made the right call but i don't consider Jack's position stubborn, arrogant or stupid. I call it standing up for what and who you believe in and not throwing somebody you believe in under the bus to save your job. Its integrity and I hope we hire someone with those same values.
