And Dan Wolken of USA Today is predicting Clemson and Alabama rubber match game. Two guys who do their homework. I really respect their opinions.

From the QB position and whether our D can win some games for us while the offense is getting better early in the season. I imagine we will be a force on both sides come Mid October.

Sometimes I'm honestly wondering if they will need to. Let's put it straight, if RRM hasn't muffled that catch in the early 3rd qtr vs Louisville for a TO and instead we scored after being up 28-10, I really don't think that game would have ever been close. ...D would have stayed on point and shut Jackson down like the 1st qtr. They do that this yr for 4 qtrs, that game might not be a high scoring game.

We are "2-3 deep" at every position, including skill positions that we have never had. Each one of them are starters on other teams. They will be good enough to interchange, whether RB, QB, or WR. We have never had an abundance of quality players before. Many don't believe me, so call me crazy. Our staff is the best at what they do and I don't think anyone has been complaining lately about players or Coaches.
Biggest "problem" will be who to redshirt and hold out a year.
It is nice to be "underrated' and "lack of respect".
We will be playing to ring in 2018.
I be quiet until we raid the hen house.

Are people seriously thinking that having a preseason ranking of #5 is a bad thing? When Dexter was asked about it he saw it as a sign of respect that we are actually that high after losing DW. Top 5 before we have even decided on a QB. That is a really good preseason ranking.

OSU was +10 and WAshington was like +9. If we fix that we have a pretty good chance. This means less INT's and more defensive takeaways. I think thats plausible. We played in a lot of close games that shouldn't have been close.

i think we led in three and out, which if you stay on the field and score, then turn it over, another three and out and score....you don't have as many opportunities to get a turnover. What is the turnover ratio per plays run or points scored?

Good point. If you adjust the number offensive turnovers by normalizing to the number of defensive plays, we would have been +4 on turnover ratio. 23 lost vs. 27 gained.
