The Carolina Panthers new owner is working with Charlotte to get funding for up to $225 million dollars to renovate Bank of America Stadium to help him acquire an MLS franchise. It doesn’t appear there will be an indoor stadium in Charlotte anytime in the foreseeable future. Get used to ACC Championship Football Games outdoors.

Maybe they’ll eventually build a new stadium at the 200 acre site in Rock Hill .

The logical thing would have been for Charlotte to purchase the Georgia Dome before it was imploded and just renovate it and move it to Charlotte

leaving tomorrow after work, coming home on Sunday. Hotels, eating, watching a game, parking in a new parking deck right across the street from the game...
