If it were legitimate country, I would probably like it. There is no real country music anymore. As it stands, this song is as cheesy as the Patrick Davis Coot song.

hey mctiger i agree 100% its not country and lee brice is actually a great country singer imo i was recognizing his passion for trying somthing for tiger football

country music. Most of what I hear sounds like they've taken a rap song, changed the terms, lyrics, and songs, then just flipped them into how a country singer would say the same thing. JMO. I want the crowd hyped so whatever works best is fine, but I don't believe 18-23 year old football players are going to get as jacked as they would with something....more upbeat (for lack of a better figure of speech).

Like I said earlier, there are no country songs anymore. This wasn't an attempt at country, it's trying (and I stress trying) to sound a little harder and upbeat. That doesnt mean it shouldn't be relegated to YouTube and nowhere else. Glad he showed his love for the Tigers in his own way, but just bc he has a name doesn't mean we should play it over the loud speakers. On a side note, steel guitar and a southern accent doesn't make something country. That's what today's record labels and artists try to make you think. I haven't heard real country in 20 years.
