Alabama leads all Power 5 schools with 17 games over the past three years against teams that finished the season ranked in the final Associated Press Top 25 poll. The Crimson Tide are 14-3 in those games, including a 4-2 record in the College Football Playoff.

So 6 are CFP and at least three are SEC CG so they havent exactly killed themselves scheduling games against tough teams and most likely didnt here as FSU is down to say the least

Looking at the final CFP rankings... I am confused.


2015 4-1 (note all opponents ranked in the top 10 at the time of the CFP - OU, FSU, ND, NC)

BUT

2016 6-0 (Bammy, 31-0, Auburn, UofL, VaTech, FSU)
2017 4-1 (VaTech, NC State, Miami, Auburn)
2018 4-0 (Cuse, ND,Bama, A&M)

We are 14-1 in the past 3 years and 4-1 in the CFP
