I don't think they would jump us. They know that a LSU vs. ND would end up in a woodshed beating for ND. Let's face it, ND's schedule is looking weaker and weaker. The only positive they have going for them is a win at home vs. Michigan. Which if they replayed that game today Michigan would win (IMO), but they're not going to jump us unless we play crappy in a few games prior to the CFP.

drop out of the top four is if they were to somehow lose to LSU by more than two touchdowns! If they lose a close one to LSU, next week's ranking will be:
1. Clemson 2. LSU 3. Bama

least #6. Georgia would probably jump Michigan with a win against Kentucky as well. I think the rankings would look something like this:
1) LSU? 2) Clemson 3) ND 4) Georgia 5) Michigan 6) Bama 7) Oklahoma
Bama losing at LSU doesn't completely knock Bama out though. They could still win the west if LSU were to lose at A&M which seems quite possible. I don't think Bama gets in this year as an at-large though if they lose to LSU, finish 11-1, and don't make the SECCG. If it's 11-1 LSU vs 11-1 UGA playing in that game i think both are ahead of Bama in the pecking order. Think of how bad the loser would get screwed in that situation if the committee put Bama in ahead of them, especially if the loser were to be LSU.

That's the way I see it. If LSU wins the ranking will be:
1 LSU 2 CLEMSON 3 BAMA 4 ND
OR
1 CLEMSON 2 LSU 3 ND 4 BAMA
The committee will not allow a LSU/BAMA semifinal game.

Or it goes to Clemson, LSU, Notre Dame, Alabama so two SEC teams get in with the chance of an all SEC NCF.

They won't win Saturday, so we don't have to worry about them jumping us unless ESECPN is willing to throw a huge amount of cash in their pleading that a two loss SEC team is better than any two top undefeated teams. If that happens, it couldn't get any clearer that $$$$$$$$$$ runs college FB at it's best, even though most believe that is the case anyway!!!

If LSU loses who replaces them? If Michigan they will move into slot 4 with ND moving up. If Georgia, Georgia moves to #3 jumping ND.

no need to concern yourself w/ what will happen if lsu wins... cause they won't. they're so jacked up for this game, they're gonna fall on their face. and, bama will step on their throats and never relinquish.. mark it down. i can see a 38-10 type game..

Ain't happenin'. It's not...it'll look a lot like the NC State game when all is said and done. The exception is if Tua goes down...and even then, it only keeps the game closer.

100% correct. LSU does not have the offense to stay on the field with Bama. Their defensive pass rush is not up to years past either. Tua gives Bama an elite QB , something it has lacked for all of Saban's past teams. We are the only team capable of beating Bama, just a fact.

While I appreciate all the "what if's" here, no matter what happens, IMHO, the Committee will likely seed Bama and the Tigers as a 1/2 or 1/3 so that they can only meet in the title game. They will not disregard what would be Bama/Tigers 3.0, i.e. the rubber match, in the final.
