... we had a lot, and I mean a lot of textile mills.

All but one is torn down. It is no longer a mill. They have tried to make it into nice apartments since it is close to Newberry College. Not sure how that has gone. Newberry isn't exactly known for its booming economy. We got pine trees and dairy cows and that's about it.
