Apr 22, 2015, 1:22 PM

Clemson got more first-place votes than any town not named Charlottesville.

The Coots have the second worst city in the SEC....

I guess the bright side is they're the second best Columbia.

Is this for gameday atmosphere or just in general?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The Town as a whole I think....

Apr 22, 2015, 3:59 PM

The gameday atmosphere for Charlottesville is probably a liability.

If that's the case, then BC and Miami should be the top 2, no question.

BC is in Chestnut Hill and Miami is in Coral Gables....

Apr 22, 2015, 4:10 PM

I think they were ranked lower for being more in the suburbs and not having the same campus feel as a UVA and Clemson.

I see...I guess if we're limiting things to the village of Chestnut Hill (which is technically located within Boston, Brookline and Newton) or Coral Gables, then they wouldn't offer so much. But it's kind of hard to ignore what surrounds them vs what surrounds the others.
