Yep, if an SEC team beats Texas it’s a “good win”. If a BIG12 team beats Texas, Texas just isn’t very good......within the same season. It’s pretty amazing

I lived in Texas for 10 months while I was employed ( with
poverty wages) with Uncle Sam and believe me, they love their
LONGHORNS!! They say HOOKUM HORNS.

Savior that TEXAS and Nebraska thought they were getting. I capitalized TEXAS just as you did, since for some bizarre reason, some folks still think they are a big deal, even though they haven't been for several YEARS (plural x 3) now. They are the MEECHIGAN of the South.

Texas coming into the season had lost something like 70% of it's offensive production. And given that they aren't particularly deep - no way should they have been ranked so high.
Same with Nebraska - they likely won't make a bowl game. But, remember that being the prime time game on Saturday night? ***push*** our game with Cuse was too: so push!
But, we got knocked for Cuse! Texas will make a bowl and has been ranked most of the year; but they honestly should have hand 5 losses! They got lucky against Kansas and won 50-48.
But to your point - people are still in aww of how LSU beat Texas! I mean, really! Something Kansas just as easily could have done - LSU is getting a ton of credit for! The rest of LSU's schedule is the same "bo zo's" Bama was whipping by 29 ppg last season! If that tells you anything!
