talk about/compare him to Purnell, Shyatt, Barnes...
This season...
Brownell- Clemson 13-13 (5-10) 8th in the ACC
Purnell- Depaul 11-17 (2-13) 14th in the Big East
Barnes- Texas 13-16 (5-11) 8th in the Big 12
Shyatt- Wyoming 18-11 (4-11) 7th in the MWC (and they started the season 13-0)
The grass is not always greener folks! And sometimes we simply dont have the talent to win every game! These guys will get better and they will get better NEXT YEAR. Mark it down

they are doing the best they can.
players are proven to get better under Brownell... Andre Young, Bobo, and Jerrai Grant say hello!
name one player who has regressed under brownell...

Those were all OPs recruits. Brownell has been competing with Citadel and Western Carolina for recruits. And it shows.
