Assuming The Coaches Know that Martavis Bryant is leaving...

Would you throw to him or use him as decoy?.....I mean you want to win but if Martavis wants to leave for the NFL before he is ready as his comments strongly suggests he is leaning towards, it would seem to me that we need to build for the future.
Martavis appears to be a bit of a lone wolf and I really would like for him to stay another year, but if he is going to leave us then I would hope they don't throw to him anymore than they have to.....
MB is not Sammy Watkins or CJ Spiller.......He reminds me in attitude more of Jamie Harper....he left early too....is he still in the NFL?

Bryant is no where near ready to leave, which is probably why he did not share his draft grade with the media. He would test well at the Combine, but his focus and effort without the ball were more than lacking for the better part of this year.

plain & simple, Bryant has dropped waaay too many good balls

and cracked alot when it was his opportunity to shine...
HE IS NOT READY!
i find it a little hard to understand how that can be attractive to the pros. they'll have to pay him for mistakes...?
he's had a productive year & great in some ways, but far from outstanding overall! more practice would improve him.

agreed he had some really good games & improved throughout...but COULD continue to grow & improve himself & his stock. his play without the ball needs some work as well.
I wish him well in whatever he chooses. but he's doing himself & his future a certain favor by finishing & having another year to be really special, plus the lead receiver probably.

Using your logic, perhaps we should let Tajh sit some.

I think we should play to win. If passing to Bryant helps us win, we should do that.

I seriously doubt ANYONE on the Clemson team does not wish the best for Bryant --- in the bowl game and in his future.
I hope he comes back. I hope he becomes the best Martavis Bryant he can be.

If He Leaves...He is hurting himself.....
Jan 1, 2014, 8:49 PM

2 babies from 2 different mamas.......he won't be making the money he thinks he will be making on 4-6th round pick and paying child support for 2 babies and an agent.....
History suggests that he will probably get more girls pregnant the best thing he could do would be to stay at Clemson, enhance his skills and frankly grow up.....

So no Clemson Player can ever do anything wrong in your eyes

Look..I want the kid to stay...I don't "hate" him smart-guy but if he wants to take his marbles and run so be it...There is no game in which he has played that contributed in a significant way to our winning....his dropped passes might have cost us a few games..
This kid is making a lot of bad choices and gets away with it because of his talents....he needs a little tough-love....
He needs to stay in school and get his education so incase the NFL doesn't pan out he will have some choices...
But I see no reason to reward a player that is living on potential rather than deeds done...sorry if that got your panties in a wad...

but it didn't happen & potential doesn't win games!
at some point you have to perform & consistently & be THE MAN & playmaker if you want to draft high & make mucho dinero...

If throwing to Bryant helps us win then so be it. Not worried about next season there will be enought to worry about then. Let's hope our boys close out this season with a win and send the seniors out with one to remember and the underclass men something to strive for in the future.

If that means throwing to him all night long...do it. Only one goal on Friday night...a win.

Ridiculous. Use Martavis as much as necessary to help us win. He is a big part of this team and a talented young man. If he chooses to go to the NFL, I will wish him the best. It is his decision, not ours.

I would wish him well as he goes to the NFL where he will flop. The guy is simply not prepared as his skills and hands are in serious need of improvement. Good luck and good riddance
