good front , there is not going to be a place for him at Clemson if he waits until Signing Day as he has said he might do. We will max out long before then .

This paragraph is why:

Patrick DeStefano isn’t family, but his friendship will be another factor for Leamon to consider. Destefano, an offensive lineman from Roebuck, S.C., committed to Clemson in May and has made a pitch for Leamon to do the same. “He’s telling me to go where I feel best,” Leamon said. “At the same time, he wants me to go to Clemson with him.”

The last two sentences make it seem that the two kids aren't on the same page.
