to see them at #3 and play them in the CFP Semifinal.
But then again, playing LSU wouldn’t be bad, either.

Actually, it would be bad because once again eSECpn can spin just how much better the SEC is than the other conferences, and then the committee could reseed them so that Ohio State, now #1 plays Clemson, which drops to # 4 while UGA has a rematch with LSU (#2 and #3, thus assuring at least one SEC team playing in the Championship game.
No, we need only one SEC team in the top 4.

It would be great to put them out of the CFP and break their collective hearts. I just can't pull for them to win since: 1. UGA is our #1 nemesis in recruiting. 2. I can't stand them.

I disagree. Any win or even a close defeat will allow UGA to have a moral victory and will help their recruiting. It would be a strategic loss for Clemson. They have to loose. Keeping UGA down is best.
I am of the opinion that this is their final season they have a shot for final 4. Mullen and Pruitt et al will handle 2020 and >.

We need to pull for LSU just in case we slip up tonight. With the Oregon win and a UGA loss that would most assuredly put us in over the 2 loss teams.

UGA would likely be 3 and our first round game. We'd have to play them in Atlanta but of the four teams they'd be the weakest. Every other scenario means we have to play a better team while whoever ends up #1 gets a bye, basically (caveat, I think OU has a shot against that leaky LSU defense).

I just hope Clemson wins tonight. It would be nice for UGA to win and OSU to lose. Get the #1 seed and play in Atlanta for the semifinals.

No way because then the “mighty” sec would get 2 teams in. Thanks but no thanks. I’m fine with LSU beating the breaks off of them then letting the other chips fall where they may.
