As far as this season goes, which do you choose? ACC or

State Championship?
I know we don't have to choose, but which is your real preference this year?
Normally I would say conference championship, but this year it seems to mean even less than the ACC champ usually does. So I'm going I want the state championship.
I'd prefer FSU and us both winning out over Us winning the ACC and losing to SC. What say you?

STATE Championship. I don't care if FSU wins the acc. WE will be a one loss team just like them. Beating the coots this year means more to me Personally than a weak ACC championship. Hands down!!!!!!!!!!!

At the end of the day, it's all about championships, rings, and making it to BCS bowls.
I mean for all we know, South Carolina will lose to LSU, Florida, and Arkansas before our game with them. The season is still incredibly early, and both teams have a lot to prove still to even make the Clemson vs. South Carolina game meaningful anywhere outside of the state of SC.

Probably against a more respected opponent, too. Although I'm not sure if the OB gets an at-large bid or what. I do not want to face a Big East team and crap the bed in the OB any more than I want to lose to the Coots.

wrote in his blog last year, AFTER the end of the regular season, that winning the ACC was MORE important. Winning the ACC, according to Rhymer, was our new rival. And as I recall, that was the overwhelming sentiment on TNET. And Scott said that was the overwhelming feelings of those who he had contact with.

Really, beating usuc has no significance to anybody but us, and we have owned them for about a hundred years, but they have gotten very uppity lately, and they have forgotten their lowly place, so it's time to right the wrong. Go Tigers!
