That's for the best because the media would be all.....

over him wanting to interview him about his arrest, etc.

It's a shame that he won't be playing against Auburn

this year. Sorry, just the way I feel about all the politics.

I guess if you have a child and ever have to bust his/her ### for bad behavior, then you should expect the response, "sorry Pop, I don't agree with your punishment and all of the politics!"

Politics and discipline are not the same

and most certainly not in this case. Let's not confuse the two...

This sends a clear message to other players. THIS will make our team better b/c other players KNOW their butts will sit home if they screw up. This IS the best thing for our team.

Whether people like it not this has been handled very well.

And, for the negative nancy's out there looking short term and can't see the big picture, we will be just fine. After the Auburn game, Whether Sammy played or not will not even be a question. People will be talking about how well the rest of our receivers played.

Good. Focus should be on the game, not Sammy's suspension***

Screw Calford.

Man, I wonder what the punishment would have been

Aug 17, 2012, 1:27 PM

had he not done "everything that was expected of him". It would have been nice to have him on the sidelines to help the other receivers during the game. I don't care about the media buzz, that wouldn't affect the team during the game.

What makes you think....

Aug 17, 2012, 1:52 PM

......the other receivers would need the help? We have coaches for that.

As a former TE/WR, I can promise you that between the receiver on the field, the coach on the sideline and the coach upstairs, the receivers can figure out what to do.

If the receivers have the talent, good things happen. Our guys have the talent.
