If Cam is 6'5" , then Coop is at least 6'2" without the box fade .

Well, he's listed as 6-4 on the roster, so being "at least 6-2" shouldn't be that surprising

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

You see that pic and say Cooper is big????

Feb 20, 2017, 11:08 AM

Take a look at Cam's calves. There is one big guy in this picture and he plays for the Panthers. Cooper is listed at 6-4, Cam is listed at 6-5. Which one do you think is accurate?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Coop is hunched over a little in that picture so maybe he

Feb 20, 2017, 1:44 PM [ in reply to Re: Zerrick Cooper, Deon Cain training with Cam Newton ]

is 6'4" but I have learned our measurements are not too accurate. Mike Williams' "shrunk" 2-3 inches as he got older. In high school he was 6'5" then as a freshman he 6'4". Then he was 6'3" and sometimes 6'2". Martavis Bryant was anywhere from 6'5" to 6'2.5" from his freshman year to his rookie year in NFL. Gallman was allegedly 6'1" but was as tall as anyone we had on offense including DW and Mike Williams when he was standing next to them. Jalen Williams is too short at 5'10" but is shorter than everyone else listed at 5'10". I'd love to be a fly on the wall when they measure somebody at say 5'7.25" and someone says yeah lets put him down for.....5'10". Lol

I was thinking the same thing. Didn't realize he was that tall.

Who is the dude on the other side of Cam with that face? Classic. Cooper is a dang big boy. Cam dwarfs most people.

Lol I think he's trying to do the ugly face prank. If u don't know what I'm talking about look it up on YouTube by edbassmaster. Funny stuff

Zerrick's shoulders are huge, he has room to add much more weight and muscle on and I'm sure he will. He's going to be a load to take down. I didn't realize his frame was as big because Cam is a big boy and bullied Bama when he played them.

Deon is due a big breakout year like Deandre had before his Junior year when he got control of his body and high pointing balls.

I'm glad to see them working with Cam on their craft!

Yep. Love to see this. I didn't realize how " thick " he is either. Kinda thought he was lanky when he got here.

Gonna be one heck of a spring!!!

Yep you could see in warm ups this year that cooper looked like he was a tad taller than Watson but probably weighed about the same. He's going to be a monster. I feel like the coaches are really downplaying his ability to surprise some people

Cooper also won Cams Qb camp in high school so that is probably where the connection came from

I hope they aren't learning how to pass from Cam

Feb 20, 2017, 10:19 AM

He's absolutely an awful thrower of ball. Bad mechanics.

DW4 was a much better thrower of ball in College than Cam could have dreamed of being.

I am just not a fan of his and wish the Panthers could find a way to get rid of him. Just my opinion.

Glad it's just your opinion and not those running the

Feb 20, 2017, 11:36 AM

Panthers organization. QB is the least of the problems. When you have a top 10 QB in the NFL that is actually competent and good enough to win a SB you absolutely don't get rid of him in the middle of his prime and try to start over. 2/3 of the league would trade their QBs for Cam.

I'll second that.
And he has improved his throwing "of ball" greatly the last few years. He's a winner that has fun playing the game, and he's an overall good dude. Quit hating. Mr. "Thrower of ball"

He didn't win the NFL MVP not knowing how to pass.

3800 yards, 35 TDs, 10 INTs throwing to Ted Ginn Jr. as his WR1

Man, what a scrub! Don't let him anywhere near our QBs! /s

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

LOL yeah okay

Feb 20, 2017, 1:19 PM [ in reply to I hope they aren't learning how to pass from Cam ]

I think an NFL MVP winning QB can teach mechanics better than Mr. Armchair QB coach over here...

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Big mistake...Did it help Watson?

Feb 20, 2017, 11:42 AM

I don't think so..not a good role model.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Maybe Cam can learn something from those guys***
