They beat a Tenn. team that was ranked but should not have been. UMASS scored 28 on the coots but Tenn. could only manage 21. Team was in meltdown mode before they arrived in Cola. They will probably get to bowl eligibility with a 6-6 record but only because of the cupcakes and Tenn. dumpster fire. The coots know a thing or two about dumpster fires.

Honestly, I think they are getting back. Maybe back to a SC State level, but let's talk after the Florida Game. We'll see what Muschamp is made of and what He can motivate his players to do. Those two should matchup well. Besides, it just makes for a little better than anticipated competition this year for the final game of the regular season- if they can continue. Tigers still owns USC over the last 3 years, and I think the tradition will carry on this year. Tigers Better more experienced all across the board.

Going 1-8 in bowl games in the 1900s did really leave them with nowhere to go but up...
I suppose there will always be that historic 7-4 1969 team.

I live in NE Cola and other than their blowhard attitude during OBC's tenure they largely remain ignorant and certainly appreciated by their foes as among the most shortsighted fans in college football. What they describe as traditions is beyond stupid as they constantly look to their slim record of achievement in football especially and wonder "why not us?"
Spurrier answered that question with one SEC championship loss and the good sense to retire with his record largely intact from UF. In other words quit while you are slightly ahead.
Dabo will provide further proof of their fall as a program this year and beyond because a Muscrap cannot recruit superior talent to compete in the SEC much less elsewhere.
