I'd hold off until they release another product

If it's innovative, then I'd hop back on. I don't think it will be innovative and Apple will be in the doldrums for a while. It was a huge bubble anyway, in a competitive industry. Samsung is really putting a hurting on Apple right now with their smartphones.

It's kind of ironic really....Apple way back in the PC days HATED Microsoft because Bill Gates tried to trap all his customers with his products. Now Apple is doing the same, and it's not working. You could get a Microsoft PC and install anything on it. Apple had a better OS, but their software stunk and they never understood that you can not have a monopoly on an OS AND software. Google is on the right track with Android in keeping it more open than Apple.

Not just an OS and software, hardware too.***

trading on a bubble...it's P/E ratio is around 10 right now and I think the highest was in the mid-teens when it was the $600-$650 range. Amazon on the other hand has a P/E over 500...

I still think it has more room to fall, when people turn negative on a stock it often gets hit really hard
