Apparently OSU is about to have mass opt-outs

I was skulking over on ElevenWarriors because I was curious about the rumors the B1G might be trying to get back into college football...I'm seeing some real mixed signals.
Apparently OG Wyatt Davis, a former 5-star, opted out a few days back and 7-8 guys are rumored to be following him, and this is even if it happens that the Buckeyes end up playing this year.
So even if the Bucknuts do end up playing...they're going to be playing a short season, with an even shorter roster...and that's on top of the 10 guys they lost to this year's draft, including Chase Young and Jeff Okudah at #2 and #3 overall. They've recruited well, for sure, but can they be the same squad they were last year? Dunno. Rumors of mass opt-outs are not promising, whatever.

They can play amongst themselves and hand out participation trophy’s like little kids soccer for all I care...
I’ll be furious if they jump in and play some abbreviated season and expect to be considered for the CFP....
Nothing has changed medically ....
They want to show up late because they lack leadership and decisiveness that’s their problem...
